POSITION:              FOOD PROCESSOR

 REPORTS TO:        LINE LEADER

 SCOPE:

 Use correct technique to cut and assemble produce products, meeting customer specifications and quality standards.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

q Identifying and Reporting to Management Food Safety and Quality Issues

q Core and cut tomatoes.

q Core and remove outer leaves from lettuce.

q Chop, dice, peel, cut, shred, and slice produce.

q Use proper techniques in doing the above-mentioned operations.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

 

q Food prep experience a plus, training provided.

q Qualities Desired:

  • Dependable
  • Punctual
  • Ability to work as a team in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to stand on your feet for 8 or more hours
  • Work in a refrigerated environment, 34 – 37 degrees at all times
